Raise Your Paddle for New Courts

Club Members,

All of you have received Club emails encouraging you to attend the City Council Meeting this coming Monday. THIS IS A BIG DEAL!!! Please attend and car pool if you can.
Our new Regional Pickleball Facility will be a “community facility” that will make our community Healthier, more Connected and, as we know, a more Fun community. Let’s make sure the Eugene City Council will clearly hear our desires. Our paddles will be silent, yet they will speak so loudly!

Below are the logistical details.

Roger Schaljo

EVPC President

WHAT: Eugene City Council Meeting. “Public Forum” period at the beginning of the meeting.

• WHERE: LCC Downtown Building. 101 West 10th Avenue, Eugene, OR, 97401. Council Chambers, Room 114. This building is across the street from the Eugene Downtown Library.

• Please note that parking downtown can be tricky. There is a parking garage (The Overpark at the intersection of 10th and Oak Street) adjacent to The DAC (Downtown Athletic Club). There is also on-street parking that is likely free after 6:00 pm (e.g., on Charnelton next to Hutch’s Bike Shop).

• WHEN: The meeting starts at 7:30 pm. We should plan on being in the room by 7:10 pm. Please give yourself plenty of time, since parking can be a bit challenging.
