New Permanent Courts Available
Happy Autumn,
I wanted to let you know of a fun event that is happening this weekend.
The grand opening for Striker Park is this Saturday 09/31, starting at 11:00 am. Two permanent pickleball courts have been completed and are open for play. We will be having a clinic/demonstration/exhibition during the grand opening. It would be great to have a large pickleball contingency present for this grand opening. This is a wonderful opportunity to show the City, and community, our gratitude for these pickleballs courts. It would also demonstrate our growing support/need for additional quality permanent pickleball courts. Bring your paddles. I can’t promise a lot of play, but your presence will help show the media and City officials our enthusiasm for Pickleball.
Please see the attached PDF for additional information. Please note the parking recommendations. I am guessing there are going to be lots of people/cars and following their parking recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
We also want to remind you of our returnable bottle program. This is such an easy way to recycle your returnable bottles and cans while financially supporting our Club. The details are on our website and below.
EVPC BLUE BAG PROGRAM:
Take a blue bag (which can be found in lockboxes at Meadow and Westmoreland courts) and fill it with plastic, aluminum, and glass containers with an Oregon refund value.
Do not stuff or overfill bags.
Cinch and tie bag completely closed.
Drop off bag(s) at any drop door location- up to 10 bags per drop.
Scan code on the bag when dropping bags off at recycle locations.
